Audition Schedule and Key Productions
Pericles, Prince of Tyre
Dates:
- November 19 – 7:00 PM at the Arden Theatre
- November 21 – 7:00 PM at the Arden Theatre
- November 23 – 2:00 PM at the Umbrella Centre
This Shakespearean tale of endurance and redemption follows Pericles through trials and triumphs as he faces fate’s trials, searching for divine justice. In the hands of director John Moss, the cast will bring new life to this lesser-known play, celebrating its rich, episodic storytelling style that sets it apart from Shakespeare’s classics. This production is open to all ages, with some roles for youth actors.
Double Bill: The Musicians & Blue Remembered Hills
Dates:
- January 19
- 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (The Musicians) at the Arden Theatre
- 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (Blue Remembered Hills) at the Arden Theatre
- January 24 – 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Blue Remembered Hills) at the Arden Theatre
- January 27 – 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (The Musicians) at the Umbrella Centre
Our first-ever double bill pairs two emotionally compelling works. The Musicians follows a school orchestra from Faversham as they face a crisis in Russia, where their instruments are confiscated. This all-youth cast production doesn’t require musical experience. Blue Remembered Hills features adult actors playing children during WWII, offering a unique exploration of childhood innocence and darker, underlying emotions. The casting for this piece includes roles for two women and five men.
The Maids
Dates:
- April 20 (Workshop) – 2:00 PM at the Arden Theatre
- April 27 – 2:00 PM at the Arden Theatre
- April 28 – 7:00 PM at the Umbrella Centre
Directed by Caroline Lamoon, The Maids is a dark, psychological drama featuring three female roles (ages mid-20s to 60s). This intense story follows two sisters working as maids, engaging in elaborate role-playing games to express their rage and envy. This is a production that will challenge both cast and audience with its raw themes and psychological depth.
