“The Maids” is a brilliant three-hander for three female actors. It concerns the two maids, Solange & Claire, who are sisters who care for Madame. In her absence, the sisters take turns to play Madame through power struggles and cruelty. In fact, the maids are trying to kill Madame as they act out their fantasies.

CALL FOR AUDITION CHARACTER PREPARATION WORKSHOP

Sunday 27th April at 10am – 12pm at the Arden Theatre.

This workshop is to enable potential auditionees to prepare for the audition. We will explore the characterisation of Claire, Solange (the maids) and Madame through a range of practical strategies.

Monday 28th April at 7pm at the Umbrella Centre.

It is expected that you attended the Audition Character Preparation Workshop the previous day. You may audition for more than one character.
